THE SONG POEM BY Pablo C. Ursusson
CANTIGA DA RAINHA DAS AGUAS – The illusion of stillness.
On a cloud I was born,
with the winds I travelled,
no burden, no fog,
and through vast lands I witnessed.
Until I fell...
On grounds I rested, through filters of soil I descended,
into the cave,
into darkness and freezing waters,
into vast calm and silence.
Night and dreams.
The illusion of stillness.
Yet the light took me again,
through the spring I was reborn
and in streams I once again descended,
in rivers and waterfalls I was shaken.
And I witnessed,
other lands and other creatures,
another songs I heard,
another gusts I tasted.
Finally in the seas I learned,
the dance of the waves and the swirls,
until up to the air I returned,
as the Sun took me
and at last I was aware,
transformations and dream,
growth, love and care.
The cloud embraced me once again.
